Actually, in the context of "let's go" "vámonos" and "vamos" can and are used interchangeably -although not in every single case- whether you are talking to one person or twenty. (both "nos" and "os" pertain to "nosotros", which applies to more than one, whether it's two people or 200)

An example of a context in which you don't use them indistinctively: "Vamos" could mean "Come on!" when you are saying things like "Come on, think about it!" ("Vamos, piénsalo!"). In this instance, you should not say "Vámonos, piénsalo!" unless you literally meant "Let's go; think about it" ("Vámonos; piénsalo.")

Litterally it means "we go" but it is often used as "Vamonos" ... Let´s go.

Yes, it is used for a small group. Vamanos means let's all go if there is a large group of people
