Being on facebook, I find that I know some of the people here better than some of my "friends" there. If you participate here in the forum, you will no doubt make friends here. This site is as much of a social networking site as some others if you make it so.

I agree O bearded one. Say, are we friends on FB? I can't remember. - Ron_Austin, Apr 1, 2011
''than'' some others - FELIZ77, Apr 1, 2011
We are not, Ron. The link on my profile will take you to my profile on fb though, and I consider you a friend here. - dc-alien-z, Apr 1, 2011
I don't understand, Feliz haha help me please. - dc-alien-z, Apr 1, 2011
Yea Feliz, I think you're misreading something here. - Yeser007, May 18, 2011

I suppose this has been suggested. Of course, this site is not primarily a social networking site. Private "friending" doesn't actually promote learning very well. I could privately tell you something, and nobody else sees it, and it may very well be wrong grammar or vocabulary, etc. You see?

So mostly everybody here is everybody else's "friend" for learning purposes, as well as open social banter.

And posts are always open to others to suggest corrections, which helps learning! - pesta, Apr 1, 2011
Well said Pesta :) - FELIZ77, Apr 1, 2011
I love it when I can push someone over the top for good answer badge just by voting. I want to say, so many of your answers here are helpful, and thoughtful of the questioner. - dc-alien-z, Apr 1, 2011
Thanks, Dave. - pesta, Apr 1, 2011

I think Pesta is dead on the money. Just think of it this way: When you join SpanishDict you automatically become friends with everybody

Welcome to SpanishDict!

Two perfect answers to that question by Pesta and Ron.
