A little feedback from a newbie!

Question

First of all just a little about me.... I have been self studying Spanish via various cd's and books etc for about 8 months now. I enrolled on a couple of conversational type night school classes too. However, to be honest after spending the first 6 weeks or so constantly saying things like... ¿cómo estás? and me llamo billy... over and over again without actually being taught any real meaning or structure I was starting to wonder whether i would ever actually learn Spanish and stopped going.

Then I (accidently) stumbled upon this website. I really am surprised it is not higher up a google search list! I have completed all the lessons and am starting to interact more in the forum. I really do find it an excellent source of learning. I now feel invigorated and really motivated to stick in there and really improve my Spanish skills. I have learnt so much from this site in the past few weeks it is unbelievable - i am like a sponge soaking up the knowledge lol.
