We'd rather you didn't "sue" the site at all - we rather like it. What has it done to you? :-) - Gekkosan, Mar 31, 2011
Hmmm...as resident attorney here at SpanishDict, I must agree with Gekkosan and say that we'd rather that you didn't sue at all. - --Mariana--, Mar 31, 2011

Hi Reneday; At first you think you'll just use this site a little . . . but it's insidious . . . it takes over your existence. Here's some warning signs:

You realize that SpanishDict is not a porn site for Spanish speakers . . . and you don't care.

You start to wonder if Heidita really looks like her avatar.

You realize that Ron Austin is more clever than Ron White.

You leave Farmville because it's taking time away from your visits to Span¡shD!ct.

You spend the first year in fear of being flagged, then you become disgusted with yourself because you haven't been flagged.

At first you want to answer every post, then you progress (regress) to find that you've already seen every post before.

You go through the stages of viewing every post saying to yourself, "I've always wondered that!" to "What an idiot!" (thus being in danger of joining what I call "Las Snobinistas") Hopefully you arrive at the stage of being very forgiving.

You find yourself praying for the poor souls in The Dunces' Corner as if they were in Purgatory.

You wonder what kinds of coffee they serve at the International Cafe.

You wonder if they have a Senior Citizens' discount at the International Cafe. (Ron Austin was guilty of this)

Finally, if you "get" each and every one of my poor jests here, then you have been assimilated. "Resistance if futile."

Anyways, welcome to the collective!!!

This is a keeper Gary and well worth a vote. PS I still play Frontierville some, but not so much any more. - Ron_Austin, Mar 31, 2011

Hi Reneday, Welcome to the site. I guess the answer to your question depends on what you want to get out of the site. If you want to learn spanish as quickly as possible then you should just go buy a cot and move in here. Really. I am not sure if you can get too much exposure to spanish or not, but the more you study, the more you will learn. A lot of people, like me, are addicted to the site. I hope you will feel welcome here.

Some people here aren't willing to give straightforward answers to these kinds of questions. Not me!

You should use the site at least once an hour to check on comments about your posts, corrections, and reputation points. If your taking off 8 hours to sleep you must make up the time you missed during the rest of the day. If you're not able to commit to this level of obsession, you must at least visit twice a day to write the word of the day, picture of the day, and English word of the day but that's only if you are really slacking off.

You are absolutely correct Leatha, I spend so much time here that I had to go buy more ink for my keyboard. - Ron_Austin, Mar 31, 2011

What exactly do you mean? How often must you use this site in order to do what? As far as I know, you can just use it as much or as little as you want, depending on what you want to do. I think some clarification might help others to answer your question!

Welcome to SpanishDict!

Your question is pretty funny for a couple of reasons. First, I hope you never have to sue the website. It probably would not be difficult, but I hope you don't have to, anyway.

My question is : How often do I have to sue this website? That sould not be difficult.

That said (in jest, of course, we all enjoy typos), most posts related to the frequency of using this website concern the "addiction" Ron mentioned earlier. In fact, we've had to form a support group (Spanish Dict Anonymous) for all the members now hopelessly addicted.

The learning videos are enjoyable and helpful. The resource material here is exceptional. Use it as you need it, or jump into the forum with the rest of us addicts and make your own contributions.

Enjoy the ride!
