Music Reccommendations?
I've been listening to some Shakira songs (old Shakira) and would like to listen to more spanish music but don't know where to go from there. My favorites are "No", "La Tortura", and "Ojos Asi" and "Te Lo Agradezco Pero No". I like almost anything with a good dance beat, and am hoping to increase my Spanish vocabulary by listening to music.

The late Soraya was from Colombia, just like Shakira, and she was a very lyrical, introspective singer/songwriter who actually recorded two discs in English and collaborated with the likes of Sting and Carole King. Her music is similar to Sheryl Crow's. I suggest you look for her on Youtube. Her masterpiece, in my opinion, is an album called "Torre de Marfil", which she also recorded in English, under the title "Wall of Smiles".
Beautiful, romantic music from Ricardo Montenar. There are many videos on Youtube. You also might like Roberto Carlos.

Well my current favorite artist is Bebe. Although I wouldn't say her music is the best for dancing, I really like the lyrics.
