A toughy for the natives... "truck on a stick"
So, in today's picture of the day (very funny by the way see here) I attempted a funny statement in English that turned out to be a real toughy in Spanish. ![]()
The statement was, "Truck on a stick anyone?" With the help of the great Deanski and the sweet Cogumela we all took stabs at what it could possibly be, but we're just not positive. So natives I want you to offer your best guess (pweeez). ![]()

camioneta en brocheta ![]()
If the truck were higher up on the metal pole, I suppose you could say "Una paleta de camioneta" but this might not be understood outside of Mexico where "paleta" is "popsicle."
Another possibility: "Una camioneta casada con un palo."
You have to find the equivalent concept in Spanish, in order to produce an interpretation.
I can think of the following options:
"pincho de camión"
"chupetín de camión"
"camión en vara"
"paleta de camión"
"camión en palito"
The best I can manage, and you must remember this is México norte. and I am not a native speaker
"Camión pegado en un palo"
