I would like a lighted room

I would like to translate this into English (quiero una habitación iluminada)

Is "a lighted room" correct?

It depends on what you mean.

But you could say "I want a well lit room"

or "a room with good daylight"

Or may be "a bright room"

"a lighted room" does not sound good in English.

It could sound like someone set fire to it.

"Well lit" is more common, but "lighted room" does not sound like someone set it on fire in American or Australian English. - lorenzo9, Mar 30, 2011

You could say: I don't want a very bright room. I don't want a very sunny room. I don't want a room with a lot of light. I prefer a room that's not too bright. I prefer a room without a lot of light/sunlight.
