If I am not mistaken (and I hope that someone will correct me if I am), I believe that the following verbs are generally only used reflexively:

?Abstenerse
?Arrepentirse
?Atreverse
?Suicidarse

That is the definition of reflexive verb that I like. Verbs that can only be used reflexively. - 0074b507, Mar 28, 2011
As far as I know verbs that have se dangling at the end are reflexive. Im only a beginner though, hopefully we get correctd if we are wrong. ;) - EL_MAG0, Mar 28, 2011
@amor y paz: Verbs that are listed with a "se" attached to them are more accurately (at least in my opinion) described as "pronominal" as they do not always convey a reflexive meaning - Izanoni1, Mar 28, 2011

afeitar (se)

lavar (se)

peinar (se)

maquillar (se)

poner (se)

They are not verbs being used reflexively unless the subject/object of the verb are the same. [for instance nos lavamos is reflexive, te lavan is not].

Hi Monica

There is a longer list in the "reference" section above - click on "more" then "reference" then "spanish Verbs"
