How would you say commander in chief in Spanish?

Gummi, I think it is "comandante en jefe".

I don't think that term is used for the US President, though. After searching more for it, it can refer to a commanding general.

It is used in reference to Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez, but I can't find a reference to a US President as "comandante en jefe".

I finally found a reference to the US President.
