Trying to translate Flip-Flap jack into spanish

I'm trying to translate Flip-Flap Jack into spanish for my Kindergarten spanish class so I can use it for a flannel graph story.

Anyway...I was wondering if there are other names for panqueques like there are in english. In English we call them, pancakes, flapjacks, and hotcakes.

I'm trying to come up with his name. Or am I going to have to use "voltearlo queque" it should be something that only has 3 syllabuls.

thanks Sharon

Isn't this Aiken Drum, Lyrics here http://bussongs.com/songs/aiken_drum.php http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N8tExKagrGQ

At least having a nonsense name means you don't need to translate that bit.

Hi Sharon I am going to bump this up but honestly I am not very hopeful - the difficulty is sometimes the way to say things are just so different. It's a real shame because this is a very, very cute and interesting little poem for young ones to learn from. Maybe you could forget about the pancake part and say something else (I'm trying and trying to think of something) Maybe something like voltear la torta (a cake) or dar la vuelta a la torta???? I love the little poem - it is perfect for flannel graphs.
