I'm starting to get used to it

Question

Me empiezo a acostumbrarlo, right. Because acostumbrar is to get (somebody) used to doing something and therefore (me) get myself used to doing it.

BUT

I want to use ponerse (to start to). Me pongo a llorar - I start to cry, can I say me pongo a acostumbrarme. How would that work, CON something? or how would I do it? Gracias.

Even though Jack's translation of what you want to say is perfect, it's more natural to simply say "Me estoy acostumbrando a ........." without "empezar."

"Acostumbrar" is something that happens over time, so "Poner" doesn´t work here. However, if you wanted to order someone to get used to something, you could say "Ponte a acostumbrar a ....." or "Ponte acostumbrado a ....." but the most natural way would be "Acostúmbrate."
