What is Goth?
I don't know what Goth means.

Goth refers to a lifestyle that kind of went out of style haha. A goth person would wear only black clothing with a lot of chains and dark makeup. And they would have the mentality that the world is a terrible place and their life and everyone is terrible. I don't really see goth people around anymore just emo.
Goth could also refer to a people the Goths of medieval times

I'm not sure if this is the site to best answer your question, but as mentioned, it seems to be a life style or fashion sense. I see kids dressed liked this at malls and other places around town. Here is an example:

I believe the word "Goth" is taken from the Gothic period in history. I have seen an article or two on the net about the war between the "Goths" and the "Vampires" in high schools in the US.
