What does this mean: Cuando tengo sed...
Hello,
I know it means "when I have to" and then the only translation I get for "sed" is thirst. But I am supposed to finish this sentence somehow and I don't understand how to use the word "sed".
Thanks in advance.

Tener sed = to be thirsty
cuando tengo sed = when I am ..(literally: when I have ).
I am sure you can work out the last part for yourself
![]()
By the way, to have to = tener que + required verb
eg: Tengo que cocinar la cena = I have to cook the dinner
I hope this helps ![]()
The first part means "When I have", not "When I have to".
