Where would I encounter the subjunctive form of "saber?"

¿Conoce a alguien que sepa manejar un avión? (Does he know anybody that can fly a plane?)

Subjunctive is used here because you don't know if that person knows somebody that can fly a plane or not. If you change it to a statement and change sepa to sabe:

Conoce a alguien que sabe manejar un avión. (He knows somebody that knows how to fly a plane [and I know that he does too])
