If you heard it used, are you able to remember the whole sentence it was used in?
Frankly, it looks like it is a misspelled word. We might not be able to give you an answer unless you can wrap some context around it.

what you mean? parese means (stand up).... when the teacher says stand up. parece means (seem.)....to seem tired -> parece cansado(a)

Maybe it was "parece," which means to seem like or resemble.
