Trying to send a private message and using skype
I'm trying to figure out how to send a private message. I read some old messages that said to look on their profile or under their avatar for PR or private message but I don't see it anywhere. I have a mac, I don't know if that makes a difference. Also I wanted to find out what times, and how to use the videochat or skype that I read about on the discussion board.

Thanks, now another question, what are reputation points and how do you get them? Lol
Go to your profile, then click on Reputation, then click on What is Reputation.
This will explain it all, including how much reputation you get for doing various things.
You need to have at least 10 reputation points to have the option enabled. Then you'll see the link on the member's profile.

If someone likes your question and answer and votes for it you get reuptations.
If you want to use Skype just go to www.skype.com and create an account. It is free. You will need to buy a headset for your computer if you do not already have one. If you want video you will need a web cam and can video chat with one person at at time. In order to video chat with more than one person then you have to sign up for premium skype which is about 8 dollars per month.

but a headset is much better.
A headset is mandatory on our chats, a group cannot hold a chat where not everybody has a headset.
