I am in my first year of spanish and enjoy translating random things as close as I can get. I want to translate the phrase 'meat stick' the closest I could get was

'la linea carne' , 'the meat line'. Can anyone help? thanks!

What are you using this "stick" for?

Is it a "spit" for roasting?

Is it a "skewer" for kebabs?

You cannot mean a "bludgeon" for killing the meat? Can you?

Or a hardwood "rod" to beat and tenderize the meat?

What is its purpose?

Then look in our dictionary for the spanish equivalent of the English word.
