Is it bad???

One of my friends asked me if it is bad that he prefers to learn off-line rather than on-line. For example he rather learn spanish talking with friends in spanish, butr when he has a question he will either get on line/on this site or wherever and look up the meaning or he will come up to me or to someone else and ask the meaning and how to use it in a sentence. Is it becaue he is lazy?

No, his way is the right way. Just as long as he spends a few hours a day talking with them he will learn a lot more than the "on-liners" many of whom will learn very little and toll away everyday without a native to confirm that they actually know anything at all, save for the online natives, and while they certainly help you to learn, they don't come close to real life interactions with natives in an everyday environment.

Gracias.
