What is the correct translation of the computer expression "dedicated server"?
I want to translate the English computer expression "dedicated server" to Spanish. What is the correct translation (note - I do not want to use literal translation: "servidor dedicado" - the computer geek meaning of the English phrase is: a server that serves one function, optimized for one purpose). Thanks.

In fact, the only translation is "Servidor dedicado".. that way all spanish speaking people (with technical knowledge, of course) will understand.

Sorry, but if that is the term used by Spanish speakers to refer to said device, then your dislike of the term is meaningless.
