Spanish song - can't find?

Question

I know Flee as a bird is originally a Spanish song/ hymn. I've tried using translation tools but I can't seem to find the right words.. Perhaps someone here would know!

I heard this song sung once in Spanish at a Hispanic church but wasn't able to ask for the lyrics.

This was written in 1842 by Mary S. Shindler and is of Irish origin, not Spanish.
