Please translate for me!

I had a friend text me this. I figure out all the words, but it doesn't make sense to me. I am not bilingual at all, and I know during translation that words and meanings change.
Any help at all would be appreciated!

Here it is:

Me voy por la sombrita...beth, desfruta la vida

Irse por la sombrita: irse con cuidado/cuidarse:

I'm looking after myself... Beth, enjoy life. (Should be spelled: disfruta...)

I'm going (to) (or) (by means of) la sombrita, enjoy your life

Sombrita means small shadow? It must be an idiom, I don't know? Maybe she's joking that she's dying, does she have resaca by any chance?
