Which one is used more often? Thanks in advance.

Did you check previous threads?
If you check the RAE (or our dictionary) you will see that there is no accent mark on básquetbol. If you google you will see that it is a common mistake.
Oops. Excuse me. I just rechecked our dictionary. It does show an accent mark on the word. Might need to check a few other sources.
articles like this one show it spelled both ways...who knows??
