I was watching a Colombian soap opera, and they consistently use the phrase "ojo(s) de vida," but I can't figure out what it means!

My understanding is it's something like "windows of the soul".

It's actually the soap opera, "Yo soy Betty, La Fea," which is the original "Ugly Betty." It's Colombian, and I don't know if it's a phrase relative to the country. What does it connote? - kacoates, Mar 19, 2011
