Is this a greeting?

I usually read this in social networking sites but don't know what it means. "Saludos desde? México". What does it mean? Thanks in advance

I hope you don't feel I am being mean or rude for saying this - it is not my intention; but how have you managed to accumulate 1.1k of reputation without having heard about the dictionary and translation tools we have right on this site?

This is not a complex sentence, and this is one of the perfect, legitimate uses for the translation tool. Just type it into the translation box, and you get a perfectly good translation.

Remember that this is a learning site. The best way to learn is to try and come up with your own translation, and then ask a question if you don't understand something, or if you're not satisfied with the result you found.

When I make mistakes they are always stupid mistakes. I say this because I am so smart. :) I use wrong genders, mismatched. I use wrong conjugations, mismatched. I think it's because of anxiety. I know I should take a deep breath and proofread again. - Sabor, Mar 18, 2011

i don't know if it is a "gift", Sabor. I think it has more to do with many years of full immersion in both Hispanic and Anglic environments. Having said that, I don't believe this is a case of making a mistake, but simply not using a dictionary. - Gekkosan, Mar 18, 2011
