What is the cachibombo song saying?
The cachibombo song has been bothering me for the last two years because I don't understand it but it's so darn catchy. It's by Eduardo Antonio- here's a link. When it says "y te lo pongo" makes me think I should not be singing this song. Plus it's all the pelvis thrusting and boob shaking, yes I get that it's a dance but...what exactly am I listening to?

There really isn't a whole lot to understand about this song. It is one of purely-for-dance songs that are largely meaningless. "Cachibombo"is a word as catchy and meaningless as say - The Locomotion. And the song is about as deep and meaningful too. Something along the lines: Here's the new dance that is so good to do, move your hips, move to the rhythm, have fun, dance, yay!
There's nothing in the lyrics that is explicitly improper - at most, somewhat suggestive stuff, depending on how far in the gutter your mind is. So have fun, dance away, and don't worry about the meaning. There's none.
