Does mi mujer mean my wife in english?
I am confused if mi mujer means my wife or my woman, can someone help me out? Both translators that I used gave me "my wife"

Mujer means woman, but it is also a very common and normal way to refer to someone's wife, as a (more usual) alternative to esposa. A woman would tend to refer to 'mi marido', whilst a man would tend to say 'mi mujer'.
It doesn't have the slightly negative connotations that it might have when used this way in English, either. ('his woman/my woman' in English can sound somewhat derogatory, and always informal)
To avoid any kind of confusion, in some countries mi mujer might not be used, even though in Spain it is the best word to use, you can always say:
Mi esposa
Gordito and gordita, viejo and vieja are most common friendly diminutives in México between spouses.
I can´t say I have heard a man say "mi mujer" ( my woman) very often.
People in the Uk tend to use the word "partner" a lot these days, probably because less people consider marriage to be important. It isn't gender specific. "My partner is an engineer." could be said by a man or a woman referring to the person they live with, perhaps have children with.
In Mexican Spanish in LA, they say "vieja". In Ecuador, "mujer" could mean either wife or mistress.
