I just saw the word buhardilla used in a context that makes me want to say it means "error" or "blunder".
When I look it up, the definition is "dormer window"

It really depends on context. The word means attic or attic window or dormer, but there is another Spanish word for that type of window that arose from its invention being erroneously attributed to a particular architect.
