Tip: Customize Your Screen Layout for Lessons
I'd like to share a tip for doing the video lessons.
Customize your screen layout in Windows so that you can quickly use other resources, including other sections of Spanishdict.com while you are viewing the video lesson.
Below is a screenshot of the setup that I use. I like to have a translator and a Spanish - English dictionary available when viewing the lesson. These are all on one screen so that I don't have to navigate away from the lesson to use them and I find it easier than just using the tabs to navigate from one instance of the internet browser to another.
I like to use Google Translate at http://www.google.com/ig#max32 because I don't have to use the sliders to see the entire translation like you have to when using the Spanishdict.com translation option.
I find this method to be particularly helpful when the lessons switch from a blend of English and Spanish to nearly all Spanish in the later lessons. I just pause the video and enter whatever I want into either the translator or the dictionary.
You may find that a different layout is better for you. Perhaps you want the conjugator page or something else. You can easily customize your screen layout to whatever works best for you. Of course you can navigate to any additional resources you might need once in awhile in any of the windows you have on your screen. Of course, you probably don't want to use the window with the video lesson to navigate somewhere else because you'll have to watch the advertisement each time you navigate back![]()
Try it, you'll like it!

Great idea thanks
After trying a few different options to upload the above screenshot, I found that Photobucket.com worked great for me.
I also tried facebook and google docs and I could not get either one to work. With Photobucket it was really easy.
I also tried Webshots, and it appears that with a free account you can link to a picture that you upload, but it is tiny...basically a thumbnail type picture. They apparently allow larger pictures to be linked, but only if you pay, as I saw greyed-out options for larger images for linking, but I couldn't use them.
