Just for fun.

We are doing some remodeling just now, I woke early to have my coffee and clear my head for the events of the day. Before I ever got changed into my daily clothes, the doorbell rang and there were the "sheetroqueros" ready for work, and me in sweats looking like the nutty professor with hair askew, I said to myself, "muevete" jeje, a "made up "self command", to cover the furniture with sheets so they could begin, then returned quickly to my coffee. Just as I was into the second cup, the carpenters arrived, and started to set up their work station, then the phone rang, my partners from Shanghai with a question. When things slowed a bit, I came here to the forum to check up on the activity of the day, with sawdust and mastic "volando en el aire". An hour does not pass without a question or a needed tool or part, gracias a Dios, I have a sótano full of such goodies to help them along the way, and of course no English is spoken here, so I get into the Spanish vernacular of the workers to keep the work moving. The conversation is fun because of all the slang and unprintables being tossed about. It is about "la una" ahora, and I have yet to manage my breakfast. The remains of the day will be spent cleaning the house. We have a few more days of this to look forward to.

I got up had my breakfast, went for a shower, studied Spanish grammar for a while, had my midday meal which was a hot dinner, I watched a game show and then the news on the tele, had about an hour on my laptop then I went to the chemist for a prescription taking a long walk as daily exercise at the same time came back did a bit more on my laptop again until my wife came in with some nice fresh sandwiches that she had bought from the supermarket had them and swilled them down with a nice can of beer, I then took the trash out came back and here I am on my computor again. Anyway why do you want to know all this? Has a crime been commited and you are from the C.I.D.?

Yes of course telly it is i have got used to shortening it the Spanish way I forgot myself and yes I spelled chemist wrong and as for swigged, swilled whatever it's just a bit slang I could have said drank a nice can of beer. - kenwilliams, Mar 10, 2011
C.I.D. :D :D okay... but no, I just wanted to know all that because maby I can find something good in others lives that I can take in my own life. Thats the main reason, but in addition it´s great way to practise your memory to the new level + it´s fun :D - Juho, Jun 10, 2011
just for if you want to get your memory to remember more and faster all kind of things, here is one great exercise: Try to remember lineary backwards what happened in your life. How far away in the past you rememberd? - Juho, Jun 10, 2011
