Busco un inhibidor de tos con un expectorante.
Busco jarabe para la tos con un expectorante.
Would these sentences be understood at my neighborhood pharmacy in Spain? I want to say that I need something to suppress the cough but also to help break up the mucous in the lungs (an expectorant). Sorry, hope you weren't eating!

Hola, Chris, It seems very clearly stated to me. A certified pharmacist
anywhere should know what an "espectorant" is.
You should be fine!

Also "supresor de tos", I would understand that, I don't know if they will in Spain.
