Hey! I'm working on my Spanish homework and I have figured out a lot of the answers for what I'm doing. But I have a quiz coming up and I cannot figure out the following three questions. If someone could help me figure out the answers or some of the answers that would be AWESOME so that I can make sure that I am studying the correct answers. The questions are on the conditional tense. PLEASE HELP MEsmilesmilesmilesmilesmile

  1. Pedro el viernes pasado: "Leeré el libro la próxima semana" Pedro dijo que ____ (leer) el libro esta semana

  2. Si ella tuviera tiempo y estuviera más cerca de su casa, ______ (visitar, ella) a sus padres todos los fines de semana

  3. ¿A qué hora llegaron los actores? -No estoy seguro, ____ (ser) las 3 de la tarde.

Because the word "Spanish" is a formal noun, the 's' should always be capitalized. - Nathaniel, Apr 27, 2011

I think you're getting the idea. Sería should be serián (las horas). The first two are fine. - Jack-OBrien, Mar 9, 2011
Good work! And now you know how to find answers and much more! - pesta, Mar 9, 2011
"Serían " Jack. - Agora, Mar 9, 2011
Thanks Agora, it was a typo, I can't see too well at this late hour. - Jack-OBrien, Mar 9, 2011
The right answers: leería - visitaría- serían - Agora, Mar 9, 2011

You might try to look at the conjugations of these verbs, to find the correct conditional tense you're looking for.

Go to the "More" menu at the top of the page, and select "Conjugation" to get started.

I am going to send you to the conjugator here in this site, and I will give you a clue: the three sentences imply in english the use of "would". Post your results.

Go get 'em!

I think the last one has to be "past" or preterit. It says "the actors HAD arrived . . . - NancyGrace, Mar 9, 2011
The question isn't about the actors, it's about the time (hours). Make sense? :~) - Jack-OBrien, Mar 9, 2011
