Ordering Vegetarian in Spain

Ordering Vegetarian in Spain

Vegetarian in Spain tends to mean meat-free but not fish-free.

So I usually order with something like: 'Quero una pizza por favor, pero no carne y no pescado,' to stress the no meat, no fish policy.

Is there a better way to say this? I always feel the need to repeat myself to make sure, but I don't want to be patronising people with poor use of their own langiage...

How about Soy vegetariano pues me gustaría a tomar una pizza sin carne o pescado por favor,

You could put entonces in place of pues both would act as a sort of "so" as in

"I'm a vegetarian so I'd like to have a pizza without meat or fish please"

I hope this is right grin

Quiero algo vegeteriano, con ningun tipo de carne o pescado, como un pizza. I want something vegetarian, with no type of meat or fish, like a pizza.
