What can 'albergar' mean?
I've seen 'alberga' many times and i believe it has many definitions when used in certain ways. It's just whenever I see it, i get confused and don't understand the sentence. Could you help me?

Albergar means: to house, to lodge, to shelter.
On the Spanish language news you hear things like "Hay un albergue en la calle Slausen para los victimas del incendio".
There is a shelter on Slausen street for the victims of the fire.
I think it depends on the context but it usually means to stay somewhere for example at a pension or hotel. I associate it with staying at a lodge in the mountains for some reason but I reckon that's subjective. It would be to find accommodation somewhere.I have this feeling it's got a rough and ready association but I'm not sure. Maybe a nativeSpanish speaker will sort it out.
