Lent as in "I am forgoing animal foods and being vegan for Lent."

It is simplest to say, No estoy comiendo carne durante la Cuaresma. Translated to- I am not eating meat during Lent. I've said it dozens of times through the years. Everyone understands the obligations of Lent in the Hispanic world.
