Why does that mean what name sounds better? It sounds like "What name does one listen to better?" Gracias.

jaja, yes actually it does, who knows, another not-literally-translatable-and-I-can't-explain-you-why phrase. 
We use that ¿Qué ----- se escucha mejor? form a lot.

You are right, it sounds like listen to ...and it is actually listen to...here we go again with the misuse of some verbs, often oir or escuchar are used indifferently in Spanish, wrongly so.
Here however, we don't even use esuchar, we say "sonar".
After all that is what it means: Which word sounds better?
