A ese no lo conozco

I think this is a case of personal A being placed at the front.

I don't know him.

Ese = him.

No lo conozco.

No lo conozco a ese. But I think I would rather say No le conozco a ese, since it expands and that feels like a le situation to me.

A ese no le conozco. A ese no lo conozco. I just like le better there, probably because I watch shows from Spain almost exclusively.

Grammar allows either le or lo, however for me, No lo conozco sounds more natural. But you are still correct.

"A ese" is just redundancy and creates a very impersonal nuance such as "No lo conozco a ese tipo." "A él" is more respectful.

In most cases, "No lo/le conozco" is suficient.

Probably yes, I weirdly use le, your sentences: "No le conozco a ese" and "A ese no le conozco" are sentences that I wouldn't use, howeve, maybe in Spain could be used.

"A ese no lo conozco" is something that I would say to someone about a third person who is in an bunch or crowd and that is not listening to me, and yes it is: I don't know him/ I don't know that guy.
