"The Pope has ..." it's a title and is capitalized. If you mean someone named "Pope" it's still a proper noun and should be capitalized.Of course for the guy that hangs out in the Vatican city, it's a title, not a proper name.

"chuch" is not a word, I suspect you meant "church".
