I need to compare my life now to my life five years ago, writting 8 sentences and using quantifiers.

1. I had have a few friends five years ago than now.
2. I have less time to study now than I had five years ago.
3. I have a little time with my mom now than I had five years ago.
4. I smoke many cigarettes now than I did five years ago.
5. Five years ago I worked a lot than I do now.
6. I have more time with my child now than I had five years ago
7. I have fewer problems than I did five years ago
8. I worked much time now than I did five years ago.

Excellent work! I have a few suggestions:

1.I had have a fewer friends five years ago than now.

2.I have less time to study now than I had five years ago.

3.I have a little less time with my mom now than I had five years ago. ("a little" is okay here, but not needed)

4.I smoke many more cigarettes now than I did five years ago.

5.Five years ago I worked a lot more than I do now.

6.I have more time with my child now than I had five years ago

7.I have fewer problems than I did five years ago

8.I work more worked much time now than I did five years ago.

Pesta, in the first sentence I must do my sentence with the quantifier a few. In the sentence # 3. I must do my sentence with the quantifier a little. And in the sentence # 8 I must do my sentence with the quantifier much. Please could you help me? Tk - maylegoas, Mar 8, 2011

I had fewer friends five years ago than I do now.

I have less time to study now than I had five years ago.

Perfect.

I have a little time with my mom now than I had five years ago.

I spend less time with my mom/mum now than I did five years ago. Or, I have less time to spend with my mom/mum than I had five years ago.

I smoke many cigarettes now than I did five years ago.

I smoke more cigarettes now than I did five years ago.

Five years ago I worked a lot than I do now.

Five years ago I worked a lot more than I do now.

I have more time with my child now than I had five years ago

Perfect.

I have fewer problems than I did five years ago

Perfect. You can also use had instead of did.

I worked much time now than I did five years ago.

I work more now than I did five years ago.
