"stringy tissue" hablando de un tejido necrotico

Estoy traduciendo un glosario medico especificamente la definicion de tejido necrotico y sale entre las caracterisiticas "stringy tissue"....no pienso que sea fibroso porque el tejido necrotico parece todo menos fibroso! alguna idea??

I'd go with necrotic tissue.

I'd say that you'll likely find that latin-based words in medical terminology will be very similar in both Spanish and English.
