Popular soap opera in Spain?
When I travelled in Spain recently, I was captivated by a soap opera that came on around 4 pm (16:00). It seemed to be of an especially high quality with a tense dramatic atmosphere. Although I did not think much about it at the time, now I have an idea to find it online or on satellite and watch it in order to improve my listening skills. Can anyone offer some ideas of late afternoon dramas that might fit this description?

Well, it's not from Spain, BUT, this novela is really good.
Be sure to let me know what you think... lol I became an instant fan of "La Reina Del Sur". It's actually based off on a corrido called "La Reina Del Sur" performed by Los Tigres Del Norte. I hear they're going to even do something never done, and make an English version as well. Reason I say never done is because they've turned a corrido into a novela and as well making an English version. All I say is, ¡que chévere!

RTVE makes all (approx. 2 billion) episodes of Amar en tiempos revueltos available to watch over the net. It begins with a 90 minute movie. It has been popular, to say the least. After watching about the first 20, I can see why revueltos might become a false friend for some people. But I love the listening practice and new vocabulary it provides.
