There were fireworks bursting in the air the whole night and the sky was glowing with color. There were so many people having a good time and enjoying the water too. There was a pier where my father and other men were fishing and drinking with each other to celebrate. I wanted to go over to my father to see the fish, but my mother would not let me. Instead, me and my friends collected seashells on the shore and later we took many family photos together.

Había un muelle en donde mi padre y otros hombres estaban pescando y bebiendo entre ellos para celebrar. Yo quería ir con mi padre para ver los peces, pero mi madre no me dejaría. En su lugar, mis amigos y yo recogimos caracoles de la tierra y más tarde tomamos muchas fotos familiares juntos.
