Is nunca used the same as jamás?

No le he visto jamás - I've never seen him

No le he vista nunca - " " smile

El país nunca jamás = Never never land. nunca jamás can also mean Never ever.

In both cases you are saying "never" " jamas" is a stronger word for this.

Of course you can say "nunca nunca nunca, in spanish, but Nunca jamas kind of "closes" the circle" to say not ever, punto!.
