so as far as i understood they are sinonims, though "dieta" is a more common word to express limitations in nutrition for maintaining weight and health am i right?
Nutritionists say that dieta is what we eat every day and régimen is something measured and under control, but we all call "dieta" to the recipe that the nutritionists gave you. ![]()
The difference is that although régimen is a synonym for dieta it also means many other things. Other than that it is a matter of personal choice. Personally I have never heard "régimen" used. I always hear estar a dieta.
