Use of 'no mas'

Is 'no más' used correctly in this sentence : "Los materiales no más son comunes." ?

Is it true that, at least in some Spanish-speaking countries, "nada más" has been shortened to "no más" - especially in speech? In which case, it would slightly alter the above sentence, no? - cristalino, Mar 6, 2011

I would say... Las materiales ya no son comunes.
