Without any context I'd guess it's somebody using the word 'asked' incorrectly.

2nd person (informal) - 'you asked for' is 'tú pediste'

However, because most other conjugations of 'tú' end with an 's' I imagine it's a fairly common mistake for Spanish learners. (Who knows, maybe for native speakers too!)

Wait for other answers though please, I could have missed something!

Pedir normally is used for asked for, or demand or even order.

Wrong conjugation, it should be pedistegrin

It does not look correct. Pediste is the 2nd person, singular, preterite, indicative mood form of the verb pedir, but with an "s" on the end I have no idea what it means.
