They say if you repeat something 17 times you will learn it. I don't know if that is true or not, but repition is the key to learning. Using multiple techniques is a good idea. As others have said, make a notebook and write the words down. I know writting the words helps me a lot. The flashcards on this site are another excellent way to learn and if you can obtain and read spanish books and watch spanish movies those are other good ways too.

I don't think there is any easy way to learn spanish unless you have a photographic memory. It just takes constant study, practice and more practice. Above all, don't get discouraged and give up. I am a long, long way from my goal, but I have seen plenty of others on this site that have learned and are fluent and they have convinced me that it can be done if you work at it each and every day.

I find that Fast and Easy are somewhat opposite to each other. If you want to learn it fast, you need to work hard. At age 15, I think you could do it a lot faster than if you put it off for a few years. You should work at getting a basic level of fluency as early in life as you can, because you learn faster and can hold the experience for a lifetime.

I took high school Spanish for several years, a long time ago, and then didn't use it at all until about a year ago. I re-learned what I had forgotten, so fast, it was unbelievable. But going beyond that, at this stage, is much harder now. I regret I didn't have the opportunity or motivation to become more fluent when I was young enough to make it easier.

Practice!! Talk to other Spanish speakers as much as possible. Or talk to yourself xD That always works...

As to remembering big words, keep a dictionary handy. If you find a word you don't know, look it up. But don't stop there! Find a notebook or composition book you can use and write down the Word you don’t know. On one page, write your words with the English definition, and write them on a second page without the English definition. Every now and then, go over the words with English until you are comfortable enough with them to try quizzing yourself using the page without English Definitions.
