When do I use saber and when do I use conocer?

"Saber" is used to refer to a knowlege of a fact.
"Conocer" is used to refer to knowing a person, process, etc. (i.e. to be acquinted with)
Judy, there have been many threads on this forum that describe the difference in more detail. Just go back to the "Answers" screen, locate the "search" box (below the question box) and enter "saber conocer". The differences will be presented in detail.
