I am going to post 14 sentences and you have to

pick one, finish it (your own choice) and translate it.

Pick any sentence you wish any amount of times you wishwink

One sentence per post!

Remember:

In English and Spanish the same: Present + present or future ( also imperative, can, must etc ), try to use all possible combinations.

Finish the sentences

If I have a holiday next week

If I see a car accident

If I become Prime Minister

If your parents give you 100€

If there is a fire in your house

If I find a wallet full of money in the street

If I meet my favourite football-player

If I have a million dollars

If I live on the coast

If I go to New York

If I have more time

If I pass all my exams

If I find a spider in my bed

If I see a rat in the kitchen

Ay, y qué te hizo la arañita? :) - cristalino, Mar 2, 2011
- lorenzo9, Mar 2, 2011
arañas son limpias... y.. errum.. they kill flies and mosquitos, which i hate! - rabbitwho, Mar 5, 2011

If I see a car accident, I will dial 1-1-2 immediately!

So where do you live that it's 1-1-2 instead of 9-1-1 here in the US? =) - DJ_Huero, Mar 5, 2011
112 is the general Emergency number in Europe, every country has its own individual number as well. - rabbitwho, Mar 5, 2011

If my parents give me 100€, they must be kidding! grin

Seriously,

If my parents give me 100€, I'll buy a nice pair of kicks.

If I see a rat in the kitchen

If I see a rat in the kitchen, I am going to tell you to, "Jump on the chair and wait for the cat to remove it".

= If I find a wallet full of money in the street I will take it to the police station and would hand it over to the policeman (or the police woman)

Chris shouldn't the English be either "If I have.. I can or If I had...I could"?? - Yeser007, Mar 2, 2011
That is true Gary - I totally overthought my answer - the exercise was on conditionals - so I was trying to find a way to use the conditional tense (podría), but you have to copy the first part of the sentence exactly, so I couldn't get it to fit, so I - 001a2987, Mar 3, 2011
ended up with not only a bad Spanish sentence, but a bad English one as well....lol - I will fix it now...Thanks!! - 001a2987, Mar 3, 2011
