Is there a word for "bagel" that is different from "donut"?

Some dictionaries show "la rosquilla" for bagel, a salty thick round bread, other say "la dona" but wouldn't this be donut? What is the difference or is there a better word for bagel?

Bagel -- rosca de pan or simply bagel (pronounced bay-goal)
Dougnut - rosquilla or dona

"Rosquilla de pan" seems to be the most common term.
