Soooooooo, we're reading a story in spanish class and the main characters name is Bellasucia.

Translate that to english and tell me what comes to mind. Just out of curiosity.

Mmm... Bella = beautiful, Sucia = dirty. When I see these translation, I think of a beautiful girl with dirty tendencies. Una prostituta maybe?

When I look at Bellasucia I see "bella" and "sucia."

Bella meaning beautiful;

Sucia meaning dirty.

That's as close as I can get

The literal translation is pretty direct. Seems this a modern "cinderella".
A beautiful girl doing all the dirty chores.
